01Purpose and scope

These general terms of sale (the “Terms”) apply to all services provided by Yassine CHOUH EI (sole trader), trading as YC Creations (SIRET 879 121 879 00024). Our services are intended exclusively for professionals (companies, associations, freelancers) acting for the purposes of their business.

Any order constitutes acceptance of these Terms, which prevail over the client’s purchasing conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

02Our services

YC Creations designs bespoke presentations (created from your content or redesigned from existing presentations), brand guidelines and templates for PowerPoint, Google Slides and Canva, animated or interactive presentations, and training in these tools. The exact scope of each service is set out in the quote.

03Quotes and orders

Each project is subject to a free, detailed quote, valid for 30 days. The order becomes firm once we have received both the quote, signed and marked “Approved” (“Bon pour accord”), and the deposit.

04Prices

Prices are stated in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI). The pack prices shown on the website are starting prices: the final amount depends on the volume and complexity of the project and is set in the quote. Any request outside the scope of the quote is subject to an additional quote, to be accepted before the work is carried out.

05Payment

  • A 30% deposit is paid when the order is placed. The balance is due on delivery.
  • Invoices are payable by bank transfer within 30 days of their issue date, with no discount for early payment.
  • Any late payment automatically incurs penalties equal to three times the French statutory interest rate, plus a fixed debt-recovery charge of €40 (Article L. 441-10 of the French Commercial Code).
  • In the event of non-payment, YC Creations may suspend any work in progress.

06How a project runs

  1. Discussion of your needs (brief).
  2. Art direction proposals: colours, typefaces, signature elements, layout.
  3. Creation.
  4. 2 rounds of revisions included.
  5. Delivery of the final files.

The client provides the necessary content (text, figures, logos, images) within the agreed timeframes and remains responsible for its accuracy. Stated timescales are indicative: they depend on receiving this material and on the client’s feedback.

07Delivery and acceptance

Files are delivered in the formats specified in the quote (.pptx, .potx, Google Slides, Canva, PDF…). If no written comments are received within 8 days of delivery, the service is deemed accepted.

08Post-delivery support

Every project includes free technical support for 15 days after delivery, extended to 1 month for projects quoted at over €3,000. It covers fixing technical issues and help getting started with the files. New creative requests are subject to a quote.

09Intellectual property

  • YC Creations retains all rights in its creations until the service has been paid for in full.
  • Once full payment has been received, YC Creations assigns to the client the rights of reproduction, representation and adaptation in the final deliverables, for the internal and external use of its business, on all media, worldwide and for the full term of copyright.
  • Working files, preparatory material and concepts not taken forward are not assigned, unless otherwise stated in the quote.
  • Third-party elements (fonts, photos, icons) remain subject to their own licences. Where a licence must be paid for, it is purchased at the client’s expense and flagged to the client before use.
  • The client warrants that it holds the rights to the content it provides.

10References and portfolio

Unless the client requests confidentiality in writing, YC Creations may cite the client’s name and showcase the work in its portfolio and communication materials.

11Confidentiality

YC Creations undertakes to keep confidential the information and documents provided by the client, and to use them solely to carry out the service.

12Training

  • The arrangements (in person or remote, duration, programme, materials provided) are set out in the quote.
  • A training session may be rescheduled free of charge up to 7 days before the scheduled date. If it is cancelled less than 7 days beforehand, 50% of the price remains payable.
  • YC Creations is not a registered training provider in France: its training cannot be funded through French continuing vocational training schemes (OPCO, CPF).

13Cancelling an order

If the client cancels after placing the order, the deposit is retained by YC Creations and any work already carried out is invoiced pro rata.

14Liability

YC Creations is bound by an obligation of means (best endeavours), not of result. Its liability is limited to the amount of the service concerned and does not cover indirect loss. The client remains solely responsible for the content of the materials and their use.

15Force majeure

Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

16Personal data

How we process your data is described in our legal notice, under “Personal data”.

17Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris.
